MICE planning guide

MICE means meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. Each needs the same core plan.

1. Objectives and budget

Agree what success looks like and what you can spend.

2. Dates and venue

Shortlist venues by capacity, location and cost, and hold dates early.

3. Travel and accommodation

Book group flights and room blocks; check visas for international attendees.

4. Programme and production

Plan the agenda, speakers, AV and catering. Connect Events, part of our group, can produce the event.

5. On the day and after

Have one point of contact on site, then gather feedback and review spend.
